Meet Barbara Nolan, MBACP (Reg)
Helping You, One Conversation at a Time
Barbara is an experienced Southport Counsellor registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. Her counselling services are available for Individual Adults, Couples, Teens and Children.
She also offers face to face, online and video counselling for those wanting to talk about a variety of issues, from anxiety and depression to relationships issues and domestic abuse. It's important to keep in mind that the pricing will vary depending on the type of session you decide to book.
She also helps individuals come to terms with bereavement, anger management struggles, and issues surrounding low self-esteem. Her goal is to work with you in exploring and helping you deal with whatever is troubling you.

Taking that step towards receiving regular counselling can be difficult, but here at North Coast Counselling in Southport, we want to create a space where our clients feel at ease and able to speak their minds.
Our clients really are at the heart of everything we do, which is why our room has been designed and decorated with them in mind.
Qualifications & Accreditations
Barbara is a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, as well as the BACP Register of Counsellors & Psychotherapists. Barbara also has a variety of qualifications to her name, such as two Level 4 Diplomas: one in Counselling, and the other in Counselling Children and Youths.
Alongside her BA Hons Degree, she also has a Level 6 CPCAB Clinical Supervision qualification, as well as a Level 2 qualification in Counselling Concepts and a Level 3 qualification in Counselling Skills.
Barbara has additional training in a wide range of areas, including safeguarding, neuroscience understanding, and attachment, trauma and abuse, as well as many others. For more information regarding our training and/or qualifications, please get in touch.
